Meet Anne-Marie, Huntsville Family Law Attorney

A former Prosecutor and City Attorney, Anne-Marie Lacy brings a diverse legal background to her work for Leigh Daniel Family Law. A member of the Alabama State Bar Association since 1994, she now represents clients with divorce, paternity, child custody and child support issues.

Early Life and Background

Anne-Marie grew up in Birmingham, Alabama where she was a summa cum laude graduate of Samford University and Cumberland School of Law. She has lived in North Alabama since 1996, when she moved to Madison to become that City’s first full-time Prosecutor. She is a member of the Family Law Section and the Criminal Law Section of the Alabama State Bar Association.

Jamerson Godsey hails from the town of Brilliant, Alabama. After studying family law at the University of Mississippi School of Law, he joined the team at Leigh Daniel Family Law. Jamerson says the most satisfying aspect of being a divorce lawyer is accompanying people as they make the transition to a new life and discover opportunities they didn’t realize were possible. When not practicing law, Jamerson enjoys spending time with his wife, who is expecting their first child later this year, travelling, and following Alabama Crimson Tide football. Jamerson is a proud supporter of The United Way of Genesee County Flint Water Fund.

Huntsville Family Mediator

Attorney and mediator Christine Dodd, licensed in Idaho, California, and Alabama since 2013, specializes in mediation with a focus on efficient and stress-reducing dispute resolution. Educated with a JD from The University of Idaho College of Law and a BFA from Boise State University, she has diverse experience, including founding Dodd Mediation, Idaho Media Corporation, and Art Patron Magazine. Currently at Leigh Daniel Law, her background spans law, fine arts, architecture, and construction, equipping her to handle complex projects and lead diverse teams. Dodd also actively engages in community service and maintains professional affiliations.
